1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the VidhyaApp Mobile Applicationor the affiliated web portals, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and End User License Agreement ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the application or related services.
2. Limitation of Liability: School Transportation & Location Telemetry
(A) Telemetry As-Is & Approximate Estimate:
The real-time vehicle tracking feature displays approximate geographic coordinates transmitted by designated bus driver devices. All telemetry data is provided strictly on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis for parental convenience. It is NOT guaranteed to be real-time, uninterrupted, error-free, or exact.
(B) Allocation of Responsibility to School & Bus Staff:
VidhyaApp and its developers operate purely as a software technology service provider.The physical transportation of students, vehicle roadworthiness, safety compliance, driver background verification, route schedules, emergency responses, and bus supervision remain solely and exclusively the legal responsibility of the affiliated School Administration, transport contractors, and authorized bus drivers.
(C) Complete Developer Immunity & Waiver:
Under no circumstances shall the platform developers, software authors, hosting partners, or agents be liable for:
- Vehicle delays, missed bus stops, traffic detours, or schedule alterations.
- Inaccurate GPS coordinates caused by device connectivity drop, satellite drift, or driver device settings.
- Any bodily injury, loss, accident, theft, damage, or harm occurring during vehicular transit.
By using the tracking feature, parents and guardians expressly release VidhyaApp and its developers from any claims, disputes, or liabilities arising out of or related to school transportation.
3. User Accounts & Security
Accounts are created and authorized under the authority of your affiliated educational institution:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You must immediately notify the school administration if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
- You may not impersonate any person, misrepresent school affiliation, or transfer your login access to unauthorized third parties.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
When utilizing the application (including the Suggestion & Chat Box, student profiles, and fee modules), you agree NOT to:
- Submit offensive, defamatory, abusive, or unlawful content in communications.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or harvest data from the software APIs.
- Probe, scan, or exploit security vulnerabilities or bypass Row-Level-Security (RLS) policies.
- Use the system for commercial advertising or unsolicited marketing.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All software interfaces, trademarks, graphic designs, algorithms, and documentation in VidhyaApp are the intellectual property of the platform developers and licensors. Subject to these Terms, you are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the app for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
6. Account Termination & Suspension
The affiliated school administration or VidhyaApp may suspend or terminate your access upon student withdrawal, graduation, breach of these Terms, or upon school contract termination. You may also request voluntary account deletion at any time via the Data Deletion page.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of India. Any legal dispute or proceeding arising out of or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Delhi, India.
